We know that for many of you this is not just a course it is a new career with new opportunities and the chance to make something better of your current work situation.
You need to have more than a certificate at the end of your training you need to be prepared for your future as a reflexologist. You will need to be confident, cheeky and have a clear idea of your target markets.
The course prepares you in a number of ways through self development, business skills, creating marketing material and developing a focused approach on how you will build up your business and make yourself a successful reflexologist.
Recent surveys have shown more than 35% of the population in the UK use complementary treatments for their health, and Reflexology is high on the list. Reflexology is now being paid for by insurance companies and being offered within hospitals and GP's surgeries, in hotels, spas, health clubs, retreats, beauty parlours, complementary health clinics and a wide variety of businesses.
You could charge from £25 to £100 for a treatment depending on whether you are treating clients at your home, their homes or visiting a hotel. Your daily charges could range from £200 to £500 whether you are working within the NHS, working with a Public relations company, balls, events and parties to treating staff in a corporate company.
Our principal Louise Keet will personally help you identify where you would like Reflexology to take you. We will provide you with the support and know how to help you achieve your goal in both charity work and with private or corporate clients. Our aim is to help you find work and establish links with spas in the UK and around the world, complementary health agencies, businesses, clinics, hotels and hospitals. We can also refer clients to you once you are qualified.
