Certified Diploma Course in Reflexology Refresher and Skills Day

This one day course is aimed at developing your skills further as well as refining and refreshing your practice to increase your client base and get better treatment results.
The focus of the day will be mainly on practical work. However, the theory will enhance this for example you will learn ways to make connections between your client’s disease and holistic factors. You will also learn how to apply this theory to what you are reading on the feet to help you understand the causes and the best way of treating a client. We will review our treatment protocol so you will feel confident you are presenting the overall treatment in a highly professional manner. This will include case history assessment, reflexes out of balance, special attention in your treatment, giving the best conclusion and re-booking clients. We will look at modifying your treatment times including challenges like how to give 20 minute treatments as well as filling a two hour indulgence treatment slot. We will cover Power Reflexology and understand the principals in giving this type of treatment.
You will practice the whole sequence and learn how to accurately stimulate all the reflex points including new points like the oesophagus, tear duct, nose and pineal gland. We will focus on getting the best out of the spinal reflexes and increase your confidence when working on the spine. You will learn the importance of timing, pace and balancing yourself as well as your client before a treatment.
We will introduce you to new techniques to increase your pressure but prevent damage to your thumbs. You will learn how to use equilibrium linking techniques and include them in your treatments.
The day will end in discovering new ways to promote and develop your business leaving you with more ideas to build up your client base.
